PROJECT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:

   Mentor, train, advise, and lead the Project Management team

  • Encourage, develop and support team member's career paths

  • Actively lead staff development efforts. Enhance skills, promote development, and
    create growth opportunities.

  • Recruit, hire, promote and train project management staff

  • Serve as a resource to guide project teams in successfully executing projects 

   Ensure client satisfaction

  • Own client relationships; ensure teams maintain positive, long term relationships with clients, design team, subcontractors, and others. Drive high client satisfaction ratings with teams.

  • Establish & maintain GC relationships at a level higher than PX

   Successful project execution

  • Serve in a key role identifying, pursuing, attaining, and negotiating favorable terms for new work; collaborating with Bradley's Preconstruction staff in pursuits, estimating,
    and preconstruction efforts.

  • Responsible for successful execution of a project from inception to closeout
    •    Ensure effective handoff from Precon to project management and field team
    •    Ensure proper project management set up of project controls
    •    Provide oversight of progress, cost control, issue tracking & resolution with team
    •    Engage with GC's on necessary issues

  • Ensure the financial success and health of our projects

  • Lead the monthly project cost projection meeting

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Develop and
    implement project strategies to achieve targets and maximize profitability.

  • Perform monthly or more frequent audits of projects to ensure cost and schedule
    management is being executed well and that teams are functioning well (team health}.

  • Negotiate and execute contracts which protect Bradley from unnecessary risk and
    enhance fee opportunities

  • Allocate staff resources and assemble high performing project teams

  • Collaborate with the project superintendents to ensure project success

   Cause continuous operational improvement

  • Partner with Field Operations, Preconstruction, and Bradley Execs to cause continuous operational improvement across the company

  • Determine and implement project cost control software and standards utilizing the IT Director

  • Promote the effective use of available resources to increase efficiency and effectiveness of teams and projects; i.e. VDC, Sustainability, Lean practices, Shop, etc.

   Company Culture Champion

  • Champion Bradley culture & policies and procedures and demonstrate the highest
    level of ethics and professionalism.

  • Support and foster the One Company culture with the overall XL organization

  • Promote Bradley's Vision & Values

  • Actively promote Bradley's safety culture. Ensure safety policies, procedures andpractices are understood and consistently utilized.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 14+ years in the construction industry with experience as a Sr. Manager and/or Executive. Trade subcontractor experience desired. General Contractor experience as a bonus.

  • 4-yr degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

  • Industry certifications/accreditation, including OSHA 10.

  • Experience leading and maintaining the highest-level in construction safety practices.

  • Demonstrated success managing profitable large & multiple smaller projects concurrently.

  • Ability to attract, develop, manage, and lead talented staff.

  • Experience successfully leading teams

  • Experience with implementing company/project strategies.

  • Network of general contractor and industry relationships and a proven track record of business development.

  • Demonstrated success managing the preconstruction process.

  • Strong understand of contract risks and mitigation strategies.
